Curator Danielle Canter and conservator Michelle Sullivan examine Odilon Redon’s charcoal drawings and pastels, focusing on the materials and techniques behind his work. They share findings from collaborative technical research, including evidence of concealed skeletons and colors that have disappeared.The talk accompanies the exhibition “Odilon Redon: Otherworldly Visions” and explores Redon’s importance as a draftsman through close study of his methods and media. The program is presented with the Drawing Foundation.
